Are you the special success factor we need for our Procurement team? This role is part of the Intersnack Group's Procurement team and the scope will include buying packaging for KP Snacks and all other Intersnack companies. Your BIG challenge as a Category Manager Flexible Packaging Your main challenge will be to execute the flexible packaging strategy across more than 30 factories in Europe. Beyond this, you lead the creation and execution of the strategy on regional level and lead specific sub-categories across the whole Intersnack Group. You will collaborate closely with the other Category Managers in the Flexible Packaging team, responsible for sourcing various flexible packaging categories, from resin to raw film and printed film under optimal conditions. You and your team will engage with Packaging suppliers, leveraging market intelligence to offer competitive solutions to the Intersnack Group's operating companies. Your key responsibilities will include initiating cost savings, identifying risks, monitoring portfolio positions, supporting our sustainable packaging core team and executing category strategy plans. This role provides high visibility and close collaboration with the senior leadership team at Intersnack. What's in it for you? Manage the procurement activities of Flexible Packaging activities in several operating companies Deliver productivity targets by supporting the Senior Category Manager in execution of the strategy Drive sustainable packaging strategy within the area of responsibility and ensure compliance of your supplier base Explore new sourcing opportunities and deliver objectives in terms of cost, quality, service & innovation Advance and foster close working relationship with key stakeholders (internal & external) Who are we? Job Requirements We'd love to hear from you if you have: A bachelor's or master's degree in business management, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, printing technology or related field 4-8 years working experience in a relevant field Knowledge of packaging material, preferably flexible packaging Negotiation skills, business acumen, analytical skills, strategic and conceptual thinking skills Capable team player with excellent oral and written communication skills Open to travel up to 30% (mainly Europe) Join Intersnack, where collaboration and entrepreneurship drive sustainable success.
