is currently seeking an experienced

Credit Controller

for a temporary position based in Folkestone, Kent. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in credit control who is looking for their next challenge in a dynamic office environment. Key Responsibilities: Managing and collecting debts from company debtors Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers’ credit rankings with banks Setting up the terms and conditions of the receivable and payable balances Dealing with internal queries about payments, ensuring customers pay on time Negotiating repayment plans Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices Posting and allocating daily receipts to accounting systems Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Credit Controller Solid understanding of accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations Proficient in MS Office and data entry; experience with accounting software preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels Competence in negotiation and dealing with difficult situations Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise a demanding workload If you are able to show the relevant experience obtained from a similar role and can commit to an office-based role, then please apply.
