We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client’s team on a permanent full-time basis.
Your Role:
Prepare statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, and business plans for a diverse range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and LLPs.
Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring that services are delivered accurately and on time.
Build and maintain client relationships, providing tax and accounting advice in collaboration with the Client Manager.
Mentor and support junior team members.
Assist in the implementation of cloud-based software for clients, including Xero and Dext, and conduct financial health checks.
Contribute to various ad-hoc projects as required.
About You:
ACA/ACCA newly qualified or nearing qualification completion.
Strong accountancy practice background with expertise in bookkeeping, statutory accounts, and management accounts.
Sound knowledge of corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax, and VAT.
Experience with cloud accounting platforms such as Xero, Dext, and Fathom.
Proficient in Excel, including skills in Pivot Tables, SUMIF, VLOOKUP, COUNTIF, and INDEX/MATCH formulas.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
