As an engineer in a Civica engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining Civica's network infrastructure used by our engineering and software teams to serve our customers.
What you will be doing: Working with both internal and externally facing systems, ensuring that they are performant, reliable, secure, and scalable Solving technical problems that the team works on Helping teams to improve older tech stacks & platforms utilising modern approaches Acting as a subject matter expert for other colleagues Proactively developing best practices Some technologies that we use: Cisco Firepower, Router, Switch, ACI products Terraform Ansible VMware (ESXi, NSX-T, etc) Datadog Requirements: We'd like you to have experience with: Networking Security Azure Networking Infrastructure-as-code Virtualisation Monitoring Hybrid Cloud Environments It would also be great if you have experience with: Azure VMware Solution (AVS) Cisco Meraki You should apply if you: Are knowledgeable and experienced yet flexible; we value strong opinions, loosely held Are comfortable with ambiguity Enjoy mentoring colleagues Are able to both collaborate closely, and work independently Can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues, including senior management Benefits: Why You'll Love Working with Us:
