Immediate or ASAP Contracts Manager - The Company: Our client is a successful and highly sought after construction company delivering high end Student Accommodation projects through both transformation of space and refurbishment projects. Projects are typically between £8m - £9m but could be as large as £15m and as small as £1m. From the Bristol office, the company works on projects across the UK and there will be regular travel to projects. Contracts Manager - The Role: A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the team to lead projects. You must have strong technical expertise as the role will encompass Design Management - being able to read drawings and manage the Design aspects of construction as well as overseeing Site Management teams. Roaming across projects (typically 3-4 at any one time) offering excellent work flexibility with a mix of remote, office and site visits. You will be responsible for leading the overall delivery of contracts via site based Managers and supported by the commercial team. The role will report to an Operations Manager. Contracts Manager - The Person You will have a solid and steady permanent career experience with main contractors Demonstrable experience of delivering construction and refurb projects across a wide range of building methods. Proven experience in managing site based teams on multiple simultaneous projects at once Strong Design Management skills and technical understanding of drawings and design. Innovative - ability to identify better ways of doing things High calibre individual who is committed to quality and programme A track record of delivering projects across multi-sectors A good team player, someone who wants to be part of a growing business to achieve common goals.
