About Us: At SLS, we are dedicated to providing essential housing-related support to adults with complex mental health needs and learning difficulties. Our service users reside in supported accommodation within the community, where our devoted staff work tirelessly to enhance their independence, support their recovery, and maintain their autonomy. We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to join our team and ensure exceptional client care for 3 Eastbourne Services. Our Mission: Our primary goal is to deliver a recovery-focused support service that empowers our service users to integrate further into the local community. We aim to support individuals on their recovery journeys, helping them lead better and more fulfilled lives within our services. Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited to: Carry out assessments, including risk assessments, of all new service users. Create support plans for clients with the care package. Undertake regular client reviews. Participate in the on-call rota. Deliver specialist training, conduct facilitations, interviews, and annual appraisals. Provide a positive and supportive environment for residents. Ensure compliance with CQC, Local Authority, NICE Guidelines, Health and Safety, and other relevant regulations. Register as the CQC Registered Manager as per business needs. Participate in inspections by CQC, Local Authorities, or other regulatory bodies. Experience / Skills Required: Proven track in managing complex mental health cases and leading large services, or Deputy Manager readiness. Demonstrated experience in working with clients with learning disabilities and mental health conditions. Strong grasp of Recovery approaches and co-production methods. Proficient IT skills. Outstanding skills in customer service, problem-solving, communication, and leadership. Positive attitude and commitment to making a meaningful impact. Familiarity with roles in Police, Social Services, Health, care, and housing services. Knowledge of safeguarding issues, with effective addressing ability. Qualifications: Candidate will have Diploma Level 5 in Health and Social Care. Professional qualification – RMN or RNLD is desirable. What We Offer: Full Time, Permanent Contract.
