We are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to join our Positive Behaviour Support Team. This special school caters to children aged 5-19 with complex autism and has maintained an Ofsted rating of outstanding due to its dedication to exceptional standards in education and care. Day-to-day of the role:

Support learning and address the social and emotional needs of students, working closely with the class teacher. Engage and motivate pupils with autism, inspiring trust, confidence, and a positive learning environment. Act as a flexible, reflective, and self-evaluating practitioner who continuously seeks to improve the quality of learning. Build team commitment among staff and foster an inclusive atmosphere that values diversity and understanding. Maintain effective communication with children, young people, and other staff members to facilitate collaborative and supportive relationships. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a similar or transferable role. Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to relate to children from diverse backgrounds. A proactive and ambitious individual who is confident and eager to go above and beyond for children with special needs. Must possess a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
