CPS Highways schemes, a joint venture with BT, Atkins, Realis and Aegis Balfour Beatty is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team! As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will lead a small team, overseeing the measurement and valuation of works on civil engineering projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in minimizing costs, maximizing value, and ensuring projects meet the highest quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your skills and experience while mentoring and developing junior team members. Key Responsibilities:

Manage and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors Prepare activity and resource schedules, and analyze tender documents Undertake cost audits and estimations, negotiating with third parties Monitor and report on project performance Manage commercial aspects with customers and stakeholders Advise on procurement and tender routes Proactively manage change according to contract conditions Prepare cost value reconciliations and forecasts Qualifications and Experience:

Previous experience working as a Senior QS in civil engineering, preferably highway schemes BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or related field - highly desirable Proven evidence of earned value management - forecasting and month end reporting Experience working with Candy software Membership of RICS, ICES, or similar professional body (or working towards) Proven experience leading a team Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills We Offer:
