Lead Higher Education Quality Manager . This pivotal role will lead the implementation of our quality assurance framework, ensuring excellence in the design, delivery, and evaluation of our higher education provision.

Lead Higher Education Quality Manager , you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our learners, driving engagement, and ensuring their success from first contact through to alumni.

Key Responsibilities: Act as a critical friend to academic teams, ensuring consistent implementation of quality assurance processes. Prepare documentation and materials for formal approval by HE committees. Support the continuous monitoring and development of programmes, modules, and student feedback systems. Provide training and coaching to staff on quality policies and procedures, ensuring robust implementation. Lead the induction of new staff and deliver tailored development programmes. Conduct observations and walkthroughs of learning activities to promote excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment. Manage risks within the internal quality improvement process, ensuring consistency across all provision. Oversee quality arrangements with collaborative partners, ensuring effective operation and timely intervention where needed. Prepare and present reports for committees, SMT, and other governance bodies. Support key College events, such as Clearing, Admissions, and Graduation.

What We’re Looking For: You will be an experienced higher education professional with a proven track record in quality assurance and enhancement. Your ability to build strong relationships, combined with exceptional organisational and analytical skills, will ensure you thrive in this role. You will also have:

Essential Qualifications and Experience: Educated to degree level (or equivalent academic/professional qualification). A teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, or equivalent). Experience in a professional administrative role within HE or a complex organisation. Knowledge of quality assurance regulatory frameworks and the ability to translate them into practice. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing reports and delivering briefings.

Desirable: Postgraduate qualification. Experience providing staff training and development.
