We are delighted to be supporting a privately owned group of manufacturing businesses in Leicester to recruit a new Management Accountant. Reporting to a recently appointed Group Finance Director, you will oversee the finances of 4 businesses in the group.
Management Accountant - Leicester - £45,000 - £50,000p/a
With a turnover of £20m and plans for this to increase to £25m in the next 2 years, they have a number of instantly recognisable brands in their client base and a solid order book moving forward. They have a real family feel, and most of the employees have been there for many years.
Brief overview of responsibilities: Management of accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations Completion of month-end closure and production of management accounts Assistance with cash flow management Processing of quarterly VAT returns Supervision of credit control - to include debt collection and reporting, cash allocation, new account creation Supervising the daily invoice posting, invoice matching to stock systems, expenses and statement reconciliations Bank reconciliations and regular reporting Costing and variance analysis We are ideally seeking someone Qualified, although Part-Qualified or QBE with a number of years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment will be considered. This will be a site-based opportunity Monday to Friday with a 1pm finish on Fridays.
