Interim Factory Accountant | Rotherham | 6 Month Contract | £60,000 - £65,000
Elevation Recruitment Group is exclusively partnering with a leading manufacturing business based in Rotherham to recruit a Factory Accountant. This is an exciting 6-month contract to support the business through a period of transformation, with the role set to commence in January. The Role The responsibilities of the Interim Accountant include: Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts aligned with production schedules Prepare management accounts, monthly reports, and financial statements Proficient in manufacturing ERP systems Analyse and manage cost of goods, production costs, and variances Oversee stock valuations and monitor inventory levels for accurate reporting Investigate and report on variances between standard and actual costs Monitor cash flow impacts related to procurement and production cycles Identify and implement cost-saving and efficiency improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support audit preparations Collaborate with production, supply chain, and procurement teams Maintain and update standard costing models to reflect accurate costs About You: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified or QBE Proven experience in manufacturing accounting, including cost and variance analysis Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management.
