Shirley Parsons are partnering with a leading infrastructure company to appoint an Environmental and Sustainability Manager in Hampshire. If you’re passionate about sustainability and want to drive real impact on high-profile projects, this could be the role for you. Why this role? As an Environmental Sustainability Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance, leading sustainability initiatives, and promoting innovation across key projects in partnership with the local council. You will work closely with teams to develop sustainability strategies, positively influence environmental considerations, and contribute to green city ambitions, making a tangible impact on the community and environment. Key Responsibilities: Environmental Compliance:

Ensure best practices are implemented through site inspections, audits, and adherence to legislation. Sustainability Strategy:

Develop and implement sustainability plans, in particular carbon and biodiversity initiatives, that make a meaningful difference to the environment and local communities. Team Leadership:

Lead a team to support and foster a culture of environmental responsibility. Stakeholder Influence:

Establish relationships with key stakeholders and project teams to promote sustainability, innovation, and investment. Data & Reporting:

Manage sustainability performance data, ensuring accurate reporting and continuous improvement. What We’re Looking For: Experience:

Proven experience in environmental or sustainability management, with detailed knowledge of environmental legislation and risks. Compliance Knowledge:

Experience with environmental legislation, understanding sustainability risks and opportunities in the built environment. Communication Skills:

Clear communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Results-Driven:

A proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is focused on delivering environmental benefits.
