As part of our efforts to foster a greener, safer world, we are looking for a dedicated Trainee Sustainability and Quality Coordinator to join our team. As a Trainee Sustainability and Quality Coordinator, you will work closely with the QHSE Manager to support and drive Parkside’s ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) Agenda and quality initiatives across the organisation. This entry-level role provides a unique opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of sustainability, quality control, and compliance while gaining hands-on experience in the QHSE sector. We are committed to the professional growth and development of our team. To support this, there will be internal and external training opportunities. Responsibilities Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact and improve efficiency. Support the QHSE Manager in maintaining and improving quality management systems. Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external quality and sustainability standards. Collect, analyse, and report data related to sustainability goals, energy usage, waste reduction, and product quality. (Scopes 1, 2 & 3) Help prepare and maintain documentation related to quality certifications, sustainability reports, and compliance records. Support training and awareness programs for employees on quality and sustainability practices. Collaborate with various departments to promote sustainability goals and support their integration into everyday practices. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, legislation, and best practices in sustainability and quality control. Support external accreditation ISO 14001. Experience A passion for sustainability and environmental protection. Strong interest in quality management systems and continuous improvement. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
