Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage relationships with prospects and accounts within your assigned territory. Work in a team-selling environment, specifically building relationships with inside sales, pre-sales, and technology teams. Interact with key influencers to assess requirements, proposing solutions, making presentations, and creating proposals. Track all opportunity and customer details including use cases, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in CRM. Share weekly plans of status of accounts and potential leads, new initiatives, follow-up action plans, and revenue pipeline. Manage all people management aspects of the team including individual performance management, team building, succession planning, and cross-training. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Brainstorm with the project and marketing team to maximize client potential and to support and enhance visibility of company solutions. Set the strategy in partnership with the business and technology partners. Candidate Profile: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR Equivalent. 8+ years of experience selling outsourcing, offshoring, and software development services. A track record of performance excellence meeting and exceeding targets and objectives. Experience selling to Director/VP level leaders. Track record of selling to Startups, SMB & Enterprises in US and Europe. Strong command in Selling Solutions and managing multiple clients. Skilled in virtual presentations, online web demos, remote sales processes. Proficiency using CRM (Base CRM, Pipedrive, Copper, Salesforce, etc.). Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Summary: The Data Practice Head will be responsible for defining, developing, and driving the data strategy for the organization. This includes overseeing data-related services, leading a team of data professionals, engaging with clients, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality data solutions. The role demands strategic vision, technical expertise, and strong leadership to position the company as a leader in data and analytics services. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement the company’s data practice strategy, focusing on big data, analytics, AI/ML, and data governance. Monitor industry trends and innovations to maintain competitive positioning in the data domain. Build and expand the service portfolio to address emerging client needs and market opportunities. Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers, scientists, analysts, and other data professionals. Define competency development plans and ensure continuous skill enhancement within the team. Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, and resource allocation to meet project demands. Collaborate with sales and presales teams to design and present data solutions to prospective clients. Build strong client relationships by understanding their business challenges and delivering tailored data-driven solutions. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects, maintaining alignment with client expectations. Provide architectural guidance and technical oversight for large-scale data platforms and analytical solutions. Advocate for adopting advanced tools, frameworks, and methodologies in data engineering and analytics. Establish and enforce best practices for data quality, security, and compliance. Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing client engagements. Establish strategic partnerships with technology vendors and data platform providers. Develop and enforce policies for data security, privacy, and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Proactively manage risks associated with data management and analytics projects. Drive research and development in emerging data technologies and pilot innovative solutions. Represent the organization as a thought leader through whitepapers, conference participation, and industry forums. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with 15+ years of experience in delivering data solutions using Agile Methodologies. Proven relevant experience as a delivery head or practice head building Data engineering capabilities and services. Prior experience of playing a leadership role in Data transformation programs. Experience working with a matrix organization of sales, delivery, and marketing teams across the globe. Proven business partnering and relationship skills. Experience in working on proposals, presales activities, and business development. Results-driven, digital native, with extensive experience in data technologies. Resilient and resourceful, not afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed, thriving in a multicultural and multi-location environment. Excellent presentation skills to conduct meetings with C-level clients. Excellent leadership skills including influencing people, problem-solving skills, people management, and visioning. Build relationships with stakeholders within customers and build lasting relationships.
