Product Designer with Graphic Design skills
sought by our client, specialists in the design, sourcing, product testing/inspection and supply of innovative, bespoke promotional merchandise and packaging across multiple sectors, including for many of the UK's most recognisable brands.
You should be a versatile and adaptive Product Designer who will take an active role in product design as well as some graphic design work. The role is open to experienced Product Designers or those with a relevant Degree (or equivalent) qualification who can demonstrate their skills with a good portfolio.
Your creative input in client discussions will be key at the product realisation stage and you will also liaise on technical design issues with manufacturers. As Product Designer, you will also liaise with external product test/inspection houses.
Material wise you will find yourself designing products manufactured from plastics, glass, wood, metals, card, paper, textiles and more.
A highly competent user of Adobe Creative suite, you should also ideally have familiarity with 3D modelling / CAD software and have a keen interest/experience in marketing and social media. Good communication skills are essential.
The Product Designer will be joining a successful, friendly organisation and will perform a varied role that enables the person to utilise their full skillset.
