are currently seeking a

Production Manager

for our client based in the West Midlands. Ideally, you will have experience in the cabling and construction industry. The role of a Production Manager is to have a full understanding of roll forming and its associated processes for the construction industry and a full understanding of the Company's manufacturing systems. You will be required to communicate and work with other departments including technical, sales, transport, quality, and health and safety. Person Specification

Full understanding of our manufacturing systems and capable of operating in a 'Kanban & just in time' environment. Excellent managerial skills. Well organized, multi-skilled, self-motivated, and professional. Computer literate. Attention to detail; accuracy is paramount. Responsible for achieving objectives on own initiative, as well as part of a team. Good timekeeping and attendance. Consistent with workload and able to work to tight deadlines. Flexible with tasks/duties to ensure adequate cover is available if required. Able to communicate at all levels and have a 'can do' attitude. Must be eligible and able to prove you can work in the UK, as the Company does not hold a sponsorship licence. Your Responsibilities

Organize and manage all aspects of production. Understand the needs of customers and adjust production to suit. Ensure Company health and safety requirements are complied with and improved. Ensure Company personnel requirements are achieved. Ensure continuous improvement and all production KPIs are maintained and improved. Ensure working hours match production requirements. Ensure tooling requirements are maintained and achieved. Assist with new product and process development. Ensure maintenance requirements for plant and equipment are achieved and attend technical/maintenance meetings. Communicate and work with the Production Director and other departments as required. Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm Benefits
