Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Temporary Works Design Engineer on behalf of a family owned civils contractor, operating in the waterways and water infrastructure sector.
We are ideally looking for a chartered or an experienced Temporary Works Designer with strong experience in this field. You will be responsible for sites and work as part of a delivery team alongside the procurement department, Quantity Surveyors and the Works Manager. You will be responsible for keeping your own time and ensuring regular site visits and meetings as required.

Duties as Design Engineer:
Co-ordinating Temporary Works Design with the Temporary Works Co-ordinators Supporting Site Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors on your projects Experience Required as Design Engineer:
Must have experience working as Temporary Works Design Engineer for a civil engineering contractor Preferably have experience working on the following: Crane pads, Access haul roads, Sheet pile Assessment, Basic timber shutter, Towpath assessments, Floatation calculations, Heras Fencing assessments, stockpile slope stability assessments. HND, Degree or similar in Construction or Civil Engineering Experience using CADS Software Knowledge of STAAD or similar Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
