Annual Salary: Up to £74,000 (DOE) Location: Winchester Job Type: Full-time My client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in Winchester, focusing on the delivery of cutting-edge nuclear engineering projects. This role is crucial for overseeing the engineering design, development, and delivery of bespoke nuclear solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and a track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects. Day-to-day of the role:

Implement the engineering delivery strategy for assigned projects, effectively communicating project status, issues, or changes that could impact engineering delivery performance. Manage interfaces between multi-discipline engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution. Provide input into overall engineering progress, resource management, and client engagement on assigned projects. Identify and manage change, ensuring it is recorded and processed in accordance with the contract. Review and report technical progress on assigned projects, both internally and to external stakeholders. Assess the technical output of the project’s suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure cost-effective, on-time, and fit-for-purpose output. Provide technical and line management of the engineering team for assigned projects. Assist in aspects of running and continuously improving the Engineering Function. Be prepared to undertake regular travel in the UK and overseas when required. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Engineering Degree (BEng, MEng, HND) required. Must have experience in a highly regulated industry, ideally nuclear or defence. Ability to achieve SC / DV clearance. Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams. Strong knowledge of change control and continuous improvement processes. Benefits:
