Job Type: Part-time (16-25 hours per week, flexible days/times) Location: Ipswich Town Centre Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 pro rata We are seeking a Part time Management Accountant to join a friendly and supportive team in a well-established firm located in the heart of Ipswich. This role is ideal for someone looking to take over from a retiring partner and who thrives in a family-like environment with a strong culture of work-life balance. Day-to-day of the role:

Oversee all management accounts duties, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. Prepare financial statements, budgets, and financial reports. Monitor internal controls and ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with legal, regulatory, and company policies. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. Review financial data periodically to ensure fairness and completeness of the data. Analyse financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures. Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections. Coordinate with other departments to ensure that financial information is accurate. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Management Accountant, ideally within a professional LLP background such as an accountancy practice or law firm/ Similar. Strong understanding of the operational and financial structure of LLPs (not limited companies). Part AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent or Qualified by Experience. Excellent analytical and numerical abilities. Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations. Proficient user of finance software. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
