Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solution Architect to lead the design, estimation, and governance of infrastructure solutions across our technology estates, including x86 (Windows & Linux), Storage, Middleware, and Midrange. This role plays a critical part in supporting our IT risk remediation, resilience, and security strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design of infrastructure solutions, providing high-level cost estimations and creating solution design documentation for projects across x86 (Windows & Linux), Storage, Middleware, and Midrange estates. Translate business requirements into efficient technology designs that align with strategic goals, reusing existing technology patterns and adhering to policies and standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all designs meet business requirements and quality standards. Provide technical support and guidance throughout the IT change delivery lifecycle, serving as an escalation point for technical challenges. Assess the technical impact of change requests, revising designs and costs as necessary to accommodate changes. Build and maintain strong technical relationships across IT and business platforms, promoting collaborative solution design.

What We Need from You:

Extensive experience in IT infrastructure, with a strong technical background gained over several years. Expertise in at least two of the following platforms: x86 (Windows & Linux, IaaS), Storage, Middleware (mainly IBM), and Midrange (IBM pSeries/AIX). Proven ability to manage relationships with suppliers, partners, and customers across various technical areas. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage a diverse workload. Knowledge of IT Change Practices and experience with Agile Methodologies (Jira Suite) is desirable.
