Branch Manager

Branch Manager West Building Supplies are coming to Scunthorpe and we are looking for an exceptional, experienced Branch Manager. As part of the company’s growth and development, a full-time vacancy has arisen for a Branch Manager at our new Scunthorpe Depot (due to open spring 2025). This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral member of a successful business that provides an excellent all-round service throughout the East Riding, Lincolnshire, and North Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will: Have management and sales experience in the builder’s merchant industry Have experience and knowledge about Heavyside and building products Thrive within a dynamic and fast-paced environment Be able to lead a team and provide training Be a problem solver and provide the best customer service that upholds our reputation With your knowledge of the products and services we offer, you will be a pivotal contact for our customers, nurturing great relationships, understanding their needs in order to offer expert advice and recommending alternatives to profitably maximise the sale of goods. Sick pay The Role: Taking a proactive approach to sales and using all opportunities to develop and expand sales and margin. Coaching and developing a team to deliver the highest standards of customer service. Providing accurate quotes efficiently. Ensuring stock is replenished in a timely manner while working with our supplier partners. Branch administrative duties. A valid driving license is essential for this role.
