An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join HPFT's Hertfordshire Liaison and Diversion Service.

The Operational Lead will manage the day to day running of the Liaison and Diversion Service, working closely with the Service Line Lead.

Main duties of the job

The post sits within the operational management structure of the Learning Disability and Forensic Division and offers operational leadership to staff in our Liaison and Diversion Service in order to create an effective system that supports the delivery of the best possible outcomes for all service users, staff and the public.

The post holder has responsibility for the operational management of the Liaison and Diversion Service.

The post holder is responsible for the allocation, deployment, prioritisation and delivery of services, for implementing and reviewing systems, policies, standards and procedures that ensure the provision of high quality services within frameworks agreed by the Trust.

Qualifications / Education / Training

Essential

Educated to degree level in Social Work or Nursing and supplemented by diploma level specialist training or management qualification or have the equivalent level of relevant experience.

Desirable

AMHP BIA Practice Educator

Experience

Essential

Management experience. Significant experience in a professional environment. Previous experience working in the criminal justice system. Experience of working in a fast paced, adaptable, secure environments. Previous experience of developing a service and of bringing innovation and new ideas to practice.

Desirable

Experience of working in the NHS. Experience of leading change. Previous experience of working with senior staff and allied professionals. Some experience of using data and measurement.

Skills
