Relief Joy Ambassador – Fresh Food

will ensure a high level of customer service providing full and hygienically clean fridges which are prepared to deliver maximum sales across the operational base. This role is mobile visiting multiple client sites daily and restocking/cleaning our Fresh Milk Coffee and our Fresh Food Fridges & Hubs, whilst being a friendly point of contact on site for clients during your visits. This is a permanent role working 45hrs per week. Your Key Duties & Responsibilities: This is a Physical Job – you’ll spend lots of time on your feet and there is some heavy lifting involved - you’ll be loading a 3.5-tonne van 5 times a week. As you’ll be out in the field, driving to client premises on your own for the most part, it’s important to be motivated, self-sufficient plus able to problem-solve - your manager is around for support too of course. You’ll be provided with a list of clients and locations to visit daily: beyond that you should be able to map your day once you’re familiar with your client sites (good with planning routes). You are the proud face of Selecta and will be approached with problems and feedback from our clients when on site. You’ll enjoy developing individual client relationships at the sites you look after, and should equally be able to deal with challenging client complaints. This is a ‘Multi-drop’ job, expect to visit many different locations/client sites per day: good time planning and fast, efficient working is essential. Working in the parameters of food hygiene delivery regulations is a must. Monitor and reduce your wastage on fresh food weekly. Monitor food temperature and comply to hygiene standards. Have an excellent eye for detail – what looks good and engages our clients. At each site visit, you’ll update a special app to reflect stock refilled (and other bits). We’ll provide full training on how to use the App, but you must be comfortable with modern technology and able to use basic applications on a smartphone. Early starts are a must in this role, we want our clients to have the best service as early as possible. Be proactive in managing changes, adding new products to orders and engaging with your Area Leader and the Fresh Food team to ensure we have little menu fatigue. What You Bring to The Role: UK driving license with no more than 6 points. Ability to manage time effectively. Provide high level of service to customers. To ensure your work route is adhered to at all times. To complete all the relevant stock and cash controls. Right to work in the UK permanently. Benefits: 25 days holiday pa + bank holidays. Life assurance of 2x yearly salary. Security of 5-weeks paid sick leave. Development opportunities available and clearly mapped career paths. You are supported by a strong leadership team. At Selecta, we are committed to equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion, embracing our differences to achieve our common goal. We are united in our principle of making people feel great and we are grounded by our purpose to create more moments of joy for everyone through our ways of working.
