CSS Recruitment and Training are looking for a Contracts Manager with Groundworks / Civil Engineering experience. Main role: 1. Organise projects to be delivered safely, within budget and to agreed standards. 2. Provide assistance to enable the company to comply with statutory safety and environmental requirements as well as our own policies. 3. All plant, Labour and material on sites under your control is properly organised and managed. 4. Support the Board in developing new clients and maintaining service to existing clients, securing the long-term future of the company. The Contracts Manager is responsible for Staff & Operatives, Plant & Equipment under their control and sites. What You Need Education: Equivalent to 5+ GCSEs (A-C / 5-9). Communication: Effective oral and written skills. Interpersonal & Leadership: Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Organizational Skills: Very strong organizational abilities. Technical Skills: Basic computer knowledge and ability to use a tablet. Health & Safety: Recognized qualification in health and safety on construction sites. Groundworks Knowledge: Familiarity with plant and materials relevant to groundworks. Contracts: Understanding of building contracts. Collaboration: Experience working with client production teams. Planning: Resource program planning and tender review. Reporting: Ability to review monthly cost value reports. Problem-Solving: Timely identification and resolution of problems.
