Learning Support Assistant - Ashford (PMLD Specialism) Full-time, Monday to Friday 83.33 per day Do you have a passion for making a genuine difference in the lives of primary-aged students with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)? Position : Learning Support Assistant Location : Ashford School : Highly-Regarded Special Needs School We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join an outstanding special needs school in the Ashford area, supporting primary-aged students with PMLD. This is a unique opportunity to work within a nurturing and inclusive environment, where you can help students flourish both academically and personally. Key Responsibilities : Provide individual and group support to secondary students with PMLD, assisting with learning activities and daily tasks. Offer personal care support, including help with toileting and feeding, while ensuring each student's dignity and well-being. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement tailored Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and manage behaviour effectively. Create a supportive, safe, and engaging atmosphere that encourages students to achieve their full potential. What We Offer : Competitive daily rate with weekly payments. Willingness to undergo necessary background checks and obtain clearances. Hold, or be willing to apply for, an enhanced DBS (child workforce) on the update service.
