They are now actively looking for an ambitious, proven optometrist who will be given the clinical freedom to express themselves and be responsible for all clinical services at the practice to ensure all patients receive a premium eye care service. Supporting the Practice Manager and Dispensing Director, you will need to have a demonstrable track record of achievement, be outstanding from a clinical perspective, coupled with strong commercial awareness, have a significant interest in optical trends, be conversant with the latest diagnostic equipment, and be up to date with the latest clinical advancements. As the Lead Optometrist, you will be responsible for thorough eye examinations, contact lens assessments and aftercare, and assisting colleagues when necessary to ensure the practice operates efficiently and effectively. Your testing time will be between 30-40 minutes; you need to be clinically sensitive to the needs of the patient, yet understand the commercial requirements of the business. It is vitally important that you have a flexible working attitude ensuring that the patient is always the priority. They have a premium Hoya account, ensuring the latest and most diverse and progressive range of lenses are available.
