AA Euro Group are recruiting for an experienced Construction Manager to join a Main Contractor based in London. As a key member of the team, you will oversee and coordinate construction activities across multiple high-profile projects within sectors such as data centres, pharmaceutical facilities, and industrial developments. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional looking to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a leading main contractor. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Management: Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Site Supervision: Oversee all on-site activities, including contractor and subcontractor management, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Quality Assurance: Monitor construction progress to ensure high standards of quality and compliance with specifications and industry regulations. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the on-site project team, including subcontractors, ensuring collaboration and efficient execution of works. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address project requirements and resolve issues. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruption. Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones and addressing any concerns. Budget Control: Manage project budgets, ensuring costs are monitored and controlled effectively. Requirements: Proven experience as a Construction Manager within a main contracting environment. Strong background in managing projects within data centres, pharmaceutical, and industrial sectors. Excellent knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials. In-depth understanding of UK construction regulations, health & safety standards, and environmental compliance. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts effectively. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple projects concurrently. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement. Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Membership with a recognized professional body (e.g., CIOB, RICS) is advantageous.
