Hertfordshire An opportunity to join a company going through growth looking to hire a hands-on technical leader to drive technology and change. This role will lead a team of super talented multi-skilled engineers whilst still getting involved technically. Key Elements of the Role: Delivery Technical Leadership People Leadership The Software Engineering Lead will run a team of engineers (circa 3, will grow) who are extremely proficient in a range of technologies including Full Stack (JavaScript, React), Back End (C#, .NET Core), and Cloud (Azure/Azure Functions). They work as generalists, responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment, including design, development, testing, and deployment. Skills Required: Technical strengths in C#, .NET Core, and Azure Ideally experience with JavaScript/React Ability to inspire and lead very talented engineers to build amazing solutions Technical depth/strength Software engineering background ideally in the Microsoft stack Practical experience managing TDD, automation, CI/CD, OOP Ideally, you will also have: Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform and Azure DevOps Pipelines Knowledge of containerization (Docker) Serverless computing within Azure (e.g., Azure Container Apps, Azure Functions) Strong experience in building system integrations The Culture/Values: Very down-to-earth Zero politics Kindness High standards Flexibility and fairness If you are intrigued or interested to know more, please get in touch in complete confidence (see below).
