GBP45,000 per annum Working Hours:

Dayshift 08:00am - 17:00pm (Mon-Thu) and 08:00am - 13:00pm (Fri) Benefits:

Bonus Scheme, Pension Scheme, and Onsite Parking A secure, permanent role with opportunities for progression Key Responsibilities: Program 3-axis to 5-axis milling machines using efficient and cost-effective methods. Optimize both new and legacy programs to improve production performance. Design and implement versatile fixturing elements and cutting techniques. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, adhering to strict timelines. Create accurate setup sheets and tooling logs for production. Troubleshoot and resolve daily machining issues, implementing permanent solutions. Collaborate with the quality team to address and resolve non-conformances. Support the production team in achieving Right First Time (RFT) and On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery. Requirements: Essential: HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience. Strong programming skills in Fanuc and Heidenhain languages. Experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC milling and turning machines up to 5-axis. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, preferably VISI CAM and SolidWorks. Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and lean manufacturing principles. Desirable: Aerospace or Automotive industry experience. Familiarity with APQP and PFMEA processes. Knowledge of ISO9001 & AS9100 standards. Experience in machine inspection techniques.
