Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and reliable Site Supervisor to manage and oversee onsite works at one of our Food Manufacturing Facilities. This role will involve a range of tasks, from small one-day maintenance jobs to larger-scale projects covering civils, carpentry, painting, decorating, and fit-out works. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be highly organised, and ensure that all works are carried out to the highest safety and quality standards. Applicants must have their own tools and be prepared to pitch in as needed. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee onsite works alongside the MJM onsite team, ensuring work is carried out effectively and within timeframes. Supervise various types of works, including civils, carpentry, painting, decorating, and fit-out, with responsibilities ranging from small maintenance tasks to larger projects. Manage and coordinate MJM subcontractors on-site, ensuring smooth operations and access arrangements. Collect daily permits from Job Managers and ensure all operatives sign onto permits and RAMs (Risk Assessments & Method Statements). Ensure works are being carried out in strict adherence to the approved RAMs and safety procedures. Work closely with the Project Manager to organise and coordinate materials and plant required for the work. Collaborate with Job Managers to review work sequences and ensure proper planning and execution. Tasks: This will be working in a live food manufacturing facility, so work environments are highly regulated and controlled. All tasks, especially those involving live production lines, will require careful planning and execution within tightly controlled environments. The scope of works will include areas such as the roof, live factory lines, offices, car parks, switchrooms, and control rooms. Given the nature of the facility, maintaining a clean working environment is critical. Mitigation measures will be in place to prevent contamination, and all work must be conducted in line with stringent hygiene and safety standards. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role, with a background in managing diverse construction or maintenance works. Valid SSSTS Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to manage subcontractors and ensure compliance with site rules and regulations. Familiarity with working in highly controlled and regulated environments, particularly in food production or manufacturing settings. Understanding of health, safety, and cleanliness requirements in sensitive environments. Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
