We are partnering with a global, successful pharmaceutical business with the hiring of an experienced Senior Business Development Manager - Out Licensing.
You must have at least 5 years' experience working the EU generic market within Out-licensing specifically.
Our client is offering an opportunity for a driven and agile BD professional to grow and develop their knowledge and market experience as they move to more complex generics and the business continues to grow and excel. The hired candidate will be able to work multiple geographies and take ownership of projects.
You will be working in a highly experienced, close-knit team of out-licensing experts. They are interested in speaking to BD Managers looking for their next career step, and will also consider candidates who have a solid foundation in out-licensing and looking for development.
Responsibilities:
Alliance management
Responsible for deal structuring and preparing commercial offers, term-sheets leading to MOUs/License & Supply and/or distribution agreements
Work closely with legal team to finalise the CDAs, licensing and supply/distributorship agreements/contracts and alignment on periodic legal priorities
End to end project management of client side activities for new launches post deal sign-ups
Responsible for post launch alliance management
Provide support to partner business team and cross-functional teams on the execution/implementation of a work plan or other partnering deal related workstreams
Provide, communicate, and implement strategy to address competition, changes in customer preference
Work closely with EMEA Portfolio Management team on existing pipeline and new products selection
Business Development
Contribute in conceptualising, designing, developing and implementing strategies for the partner business in the region and executing these in the assigned territory
Identify potential partners and establish contacts & build relations with key decision makers to win new business in the assigned territory
Responsible for projects’/deals’ lifecycle (including finalising deals, product launches)
