BRAND NEW ROLE - SOFTWARE ENGINEER - Remote - 1 day a month in Manchester City Centre .NET/C# and Azure - up to £55K + benefits Starting salary: £55,000 The right candidate: They aren't bothered about experience; they are just looking for the right person! The right person is a problem solver and someone who wants to learn! The role: This role is for a tech-driven company well-known for hiring some of the best developers in and around Manchester. They are looking for a .NET Developer who has worked with Microservices or a Test-Driven approach before. If you have both, then great! You will become a better Engineer: A huge thing for this household-name software company is best practices. They love code that is built with all the best practices and is scalable! If you want to become a really good Software Engineer, then this is your place to be. Also, they like having everyone get hands-on with the architecture too, so you'll be able to get some experience on this. Training and becoming a Senior Engineer: They are also huge on training and pushing people to become seniors. I placed 2 developers here last year who are already at Senior Level after joining as mid-level. Location: For this role, you DON'T necessarily need to be based in Manchester City Centre (their office is a 10-minute walk from Victoria Station) but will need to be within a commutable distance. For example, Liverpool or Sheffield will be fine! Why they ask you to come in to the office: The reason why they ask you to come into the office is that they are huge on you knowing everyone you work with. Due to their flat structure and everyone being approachable, no matter who you are in the business, you'll be drinking coffee and doing some whiteboarding with the CTO before you know it. The reason for this hire: Natural Growth! They have a lot of greenfield work on the go and plenty more signed off and pipelined.
