Collaborate closely with the HR Manager on day-to-day HR and employee relations matters, including informal resolutions and advising on formal disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence management cases. Coach and guide line managers and team leaders to improve their capabilities, ensuring their approaches align with company policies and procedures. Develop and deliver training modules, co-facilitating sessions that focus on managing people and driving development. Identify areas for improvement within HR processes, implementing innovative solutions to drive positive change. Draft, update, and maintain HR policies and procedures. Support with recruitment activities and provide general HR administrative assistance where needed. Demonstrate a proactive approach to managing a varied workload, prioritising effectively to meet business needs. Act as a collaborative and supportive team player, championing the company's culture and values at all times. Key Requirements of the HR Advisor:
CIPD Level 3 or 5 preferable. Up to date knowledge of HR best practice. Experience of Employee Relations is essential for this role. Proven experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar role and L&D or coaching experience. Some experience of payroll processes and procedures would be helpful. Strong IT Skills and knowledge of HR systems and databases. Ability to take ownership of a task and see it through to completion. A proactive mindset, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
