The post holder is expected to work within Gloucestershire; the ICB's office space is Shire Hall. Key Responsibilities

Oversee a portfolio of projects to ensure they are planned, managed and delivered effectively. Develop effective working relationships with a wide range of partner organisations to ensure co-ordinated action within community pharmacy integration projects. Be a key member of the POD team as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally, including patient and public engagement when necessary. Support and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring, implementation and evaluation of tasks/projects by providing high quality support including complex information and analysis, communications and stakeholder management. Support the POD team to deliver against strategic objectives. Undertake research of best practice delivered elsewhere and be aware of updated and developing national or other external guidance. Collate evidence to support planned community pharmacy integration agenda projects. Utilise effective transformation, service redesign and project management techniques (such as process mapping) to ensure effective project design, delivery, implementation and evaluation. Test and review new concepts, models, methods, practices, products and equipment to ensure innovative approaches are embedded within project areas. Contribute to ensuring there are processes in place for spreading and sharing learning and outcomes. Support the delivery of community pharmacy integration projects to ensure the best quality care is provided to our patients. Support the identification of service efficiencies and develop a plan to do so. Be an integral team member to achieve the POD team's short- and long-term objectives. Support the development and measurement against such objectives. Support the POD team with human resource elements such as assisting with or undertaking recruitment as necessary. Line-manage allocated staff on a day-to-day basis, with the support of senior management when necessary. Person Specification

Organisational and administrative skills for managing a highly complex workload. Knowledge

Must demonstrate knowledge of the current health system within Gloucestershire, the aims and aspirations of the ICB, and current national health policy. Knowledge of the role of an ICS. Understanding of equality and diversity issues and how personally can make a positive difference to this agenda. Knowledge of health inequalities. Qualifications

Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in a specialist area. Experience of data analysis and using information to evaluate and drive improvement. Experience of developing and delivering improvement and efficiency plans. Experience in communications and stakeholder management. Experience in project management, including needs assessment, monitoring and evaluation, and understanding of project management methodologies. At least 2 years of experience of working in commissioning, and/or health services planning within the public sector. Experience of collaborative working across organisations. Experience and understanding of evaluating and measuring the performance of health services. Personal Attributes
