Join Our Client's Dynamic Team as a Senior Planning Engineer! Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Planning Engineer to work for our client in the South East UK. This is an incredible opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that are shaping the future of the energy sector. Role Overview: The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of schedule development, from developing the baseline schedule and S-curve to monitoring and reporting progress. Key Responsibilities: Maintain full familiarity with company policies, directives, and procedures and suggest improvements to project planning methods, procedures, and practices. Develop the resource-loaded project baseline schedule and S-curve to monitor and report project progress, also playing an active part in scope management. Create project-specific planning procedures where necessary. Monitor the Planning manhour spend against the budget on assigned projects. Advise the Department Chief of future manpower requirements, making every effort to stay within budget. Ensure that the project planning network is set up in such a way that it can exchange information with the Electronic Document Management System and SAP if required. Maintain full familiarity with all relevant software applications associated with planning (including relevant parts of the EDMS if required). Assist in the preparation of proposals and make presentations to clients as directed by the Department Chief. This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements: Degree in a related subject. Experience working as a Planning Engineer on projects in the energy sector.
