ABOUT KATTO Katto is a modern kitchenware company. From our workshop in Sheffield, we design and hand-make exceptional kitchenware with a big focus on knives. And - courtesy of our brilliant customers - we're growing very quickly. In light of this, we are looking to rapidly expand our selection of products and need a talented Product / Design Manager to come to help us take products from initial idea to delivery. THE ROLE In this role you will: Oversee the entire product design process from ideation to production ensuring that every item meets our standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, streamline processes, and bring products to market at pace that delight our customers. Gather and incorporate customer feedback to refine designs and enhance user experience. Plan, prioritize, and oversee multiple design projects, ensuring timely delivery. Manage resources effectively to meet project deadlines and budget constraints. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to inspire innovative design solutions. SKILLS Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field. Experience working in kitchenware or a related consumer goods sector. Proficiency in design tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Adobe Creative Suite. Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and production techniques. Proven track record of leading projects from concept to market. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly. MINDSET As well as the right skills, you’ll need to be: Extremely organized, detail oriented and somewhat obsessive about creating good work. A creative problem solver with a strong sense of aesthetics and attention to detail. Highly collaborative. Capable of working on managing multiple projects simultaneously.
