Our client requires a mobile M&E engineer to join their ever-growing Energy Services team which has 15% growth year on year. The Energy Services team operates 25 Heat Networks and Energy Centres across London. The work is a mixture of planned maintenance and repair works as well as reactive works from our call-out service. The role of the M&E engineer is to deliver maintenance and repair works, as well as reactive services to a professional standard.

M&E Engineer Position Overview Working on all types of mechanical & electrical assets Mechanical duties: pump overhauls, valve and pipework repairs, cooling tower testing, vibration analysis, fixing leaks, HIU servicing, belt and pulley alignment checks, fault finding, chiller and boiler checks, water treatment / temperature monitoring, and constantly looking for ways to reduce the overall cost of production Electrical duties: motor testing, BMS monitoring, meter checks, fault finding, and constantly looking for ways to reduce the overall cost of production Servicing AHUs, FCUs, HIUs, chillers, pumps, inverters, cooling towers, adiabatic coolers, underfloor heating, pipework, and a good working knowledge of all other M&E & HVAC systems

M&E Engineer Position Requirements Time-served mechanical / electrical apprenticeship City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering NHC HND (desirable) Minimum of six years' experience in the field

M&E Engineer Position Remuneration £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, based upon experience 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday 23 days plus bank holidays, rising with service 1.5-2x overtime rates - engineers often earn an additional £10,000 - £15,000 per annum Company van with optional personal use available 1-8 call out rota - looking to grow to 1-10 Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex, operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
