The Senior Corporate Counsel, International reports to the Assistant General Counsel-International and is responsible for supporting the Company’s international commercial affairs and operations. This role serves as a key advisor to the international business team and is responsible for drafting, negotiating, and interpreting a broad range of agreements. The role also supports compliance, labor law, and regulatory issues for the International businesses.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as the primary legal advisor for international business operations. Provide strategic legal and business advice to international teams and senior leadership. Draft, negotiate, and interpret a wide range of commercial agreements. Support compliance, labor law, privacy, and regulatory colleagues across international markets. Proactively review and mitigate legal risks, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Stay updated on relevant laws and drive strategic business goals. Manage outside counsel as needed and maintain confidentiality of legal communications. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Experience: 10+ years PQE in commercial law, with at least 5 years in-house experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry. Expertise: Strong knowledge of EU/UK medical device regulations, contract law, and data privacy. Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, management, and presentation skills. Qualifications: Law degree and professional qualification as a solicitor or barrister in England or Wales, or equivalent in a major European jurisdiction. Languages: Ideally, business-level proficiency in another major European language (German or French) other than English. WHY JOIN US?
