For our offices in Göttingen, Hamburg, Berlin and Abingdon (UK), we are looking for dedicated and professional Senior Software Test Developer (f/m/d) The mission of the team you are joining is to create the leading software product for life science data analytics.

Over the last decade, Evotec has created software for the analysis of cellular data that has been a game-changer in drug discovery. We have been using it with huge success internally, and now we are working towards a public release. As part of the software development team, you will help advance and improve this software into a product used by customers worldwide.

Your key responsibilities Implement and improve automated tests, test strategies and test infrastructure on all levels for our large SaaS application: a secure, high-performance and on-demand scalable cloud computing product Provide expert feedback and testing at every stage of the development process of the software your team is building – from design and implementation to operation and continuous improvement Help build up the team, select and guide new team members, take up a leading role Work closely with a team of like-minded experts in various domains and help create state-of-the-art software Your qualifications Proficiency in multiple aspects of software testing and test automation, e.g. automated UI-, Load- and Performance-Testing. At least a couple of years industry experience in software development and software testing. Coding skills necessary. You are reliable, a strong team player and generally a jolly good person. Fluency in written and spoken business English is necessary. You are eager to continuously learn and apply new technologies. Ideally, you have experience with some of the following already:

Python, R, JavaScript/TypeScript or another high level programming language Git, GitLab CI/CD, Docker Playwright, Puppeteer, Cypress, Selenium Network security, server infrastructure and data management AWS, MS Azure Bioinformatics and Omics technologies
