Our client is a well-established manufacturing company. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager to work on a permanent day shift.
The Role
Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the production department. Working with other departments to ensure deadlines are met, addressing any problems that arise. Organising rotas of all employees within the production department. Ensuring all employees are trained to an excellent standard. Optimising the production area to increase maximum daily output. Continuously identifying ways to reduce costs and improve standards and efficiency in all areas. Attending daily review meetings to ensure fully on target to deliver. The Person
You will have experience in a similar role. Previous manufacturing experience is essential. Management experience gained in a fast-paced production environment dealing with large teams. Proven experience in a people management role with the ability to deliver strong results through a team. Strong leadership and coaching skills in order to engage, motivate, and develop large teams with varying skill sets. Outstanding problem-solving ability. Exceptional leadership skills.
