Primary Purpose: The primary purpose of this role is to act as the quality representative for production, leading root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions. It involves driving process improvements, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements, and supporting audits. The role fosters a culture of quality and continuous improvement while addressing operational quality issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities: Act as the quality representative for production, addressing operational quality issues and leading root cause analysis using tools like 8D and Fishbone. Identify process gaps, lead improvements, and ensure compliance with internal, customer, and certification standards. Analyse non-conformance data to identify trends, mitigate risks through FMEA, and drive quality improvements in manufacturing. Facilitate and support internal and external audits, assisting in resolving findings effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed a "Right First Time" culture and provide quality guidance. Enforce health, safety, and compliance protocols while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Deliver training, maintain personal competency records, and contribute to business performance reporting.

Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications: Education:

Degree in Engineering or relevant subject. Proven Leadership:

Demonstrable experience leading and resolving quality issues - not just supporting investigations. Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, RCA, and 8D, ideally within manufacturing. Soft Skills:

Emotional intelligence, the ability to navigate challenging conversations, and the skill to influence cross-functional teams effectively. Hands-On Approach:

A fixer mentality - ready to identify problems, get to the root cause, and drive solutions. Strong Communication:

Comfortable engaging with operators, technicians, and engineers at all levels.
