Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner Derby - Hybrid Manufacturing Are you ready to take your finance career to the next level in a high-growth SME? We are partnering exclusively with a niche high growth SME manufacturing business to add a Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner to join our finance team and play a pivotal role in driving the business forward. The Role: As a Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner, you will partner with key stakeholders to deliver insights that support strategic decision-making. This is a hands-on role where you will have a real impact on the journey of growth and success. Key Responsibilities: Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary. Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insights and drive profitability. Support the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Develop and maintain robust financial models to inform strategic planning. Oversee stock valuation, reconciliation, and reporting to ensure accurate inventory management. Implement and manage standard costing processes, analysing variances and recommending corrective actions. Drive improvements in financial reporting, systems, and processes. Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure business stability. Support ad hoc projects, such as new product development costings or investment appraisals. What We're Looking For: Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent. Experience: Proven track record in management accounting or finance business partnering, ideally in a manufacturing or SME environment. Strong knowledge of stock management and standard costing in a manufacturing context. Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights. Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – comfortable influencing and challenging stakeholders at all levels.
