We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Manager to oversee our Internal Exclusion unit. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and supporting students who require internal exclusion, ensuring they receive appropriate guidance to reintegrate successfully into mainstream classes. Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Internal Exclusion unit, maintaining a structured and supportive environment. Develop and implement behaviour management strategies tailored to individual student needs. Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and parents to monitor and support student progress. Maintain accurate records of student behaviour, interventions, and outcomes. Provide mentoring and support to students to promote positive behavioural changes. Ensure that students in internal exclusion continue to access the curriculum and receive appropriate educational materials. Uphold the school's behaviour policies and contribute to their ongoing development. Requirements: Proven experience in a pastoral or behaviour management role within a secondary school setting. Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and restorative practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. Ability to remain calm and assertive in challenging situations. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Valid DBS check registered on the update service. Application Process:
