8th April 2024 Job Description: International House London is currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Turkish teachers to join our growing Foreign Languages team. The role primarily involves teaching adults on our evening face-to-face courses at our school in Covent Garden. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified and passionate individuals to contribute to our vibrant and multicultural learning environment. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality Turkish language lessons to adult learners. Create engaging and effective lesson materials and activities. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere in the classroom. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of courses and maintain consistent teaching standards. Minimum Requirements: Proficient Turkish speaker. Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Initial teaching qualification. Minimum of 2 years teaching experience. Must have the right to work in the UK and be currently based in the UK. Possess a CLTA, CELTA, Trinity TESOL or DELTA. QTS. Hold a degree in Turkish Language and Literature or a degree in Modern Languages (English, Spanish, German, French, etc.). Working Hours: This is a part-time position. Most lessons are in the evening from 18.30 - 20.30, once a week. We also have some classes in the afternoons, Friday evenings, and Sunday mornings.
