With a focus on delivering excellent customer service and high-quality workmanship, we are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our growing team. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a variety of commercial sectors in Scotland. Role Overview: As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of refrigeration systems in commercial properties across Scotland. This is a mobile position, meaning you'll be travelling to various client sites. You will be required to work independently as well as part of a team, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and ensuring systems are running at peak efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Service and Maintenance:

Perform planned and reactive maintenance on refrigeration units, including cold rooms, ice machines, and display fridges, across commercial sites. Installations:

Install new refrigeration systems and equipment in line with client specifications and industry standards. Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:

Diagnose and repair faults with refrigeration systems, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. Compliance:

Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with F-Gas regulations and health & safety guidelines. Customer Interaction:

Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and providing solutions to meet their needs. Call-Outs:

Participate in the 1-in-3 on-call rota, being available to respond to urgent breakdowns and emergencies. Record Keeping:

Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and other documentation accurately and on time. Travel:

Manage your time effectively while travelling to various customer sites across Scotland. The role involves a mobile working setup with door-to-door pay. Requirements: F-Gas Qualification (Essential):

You must have a valid F-Gas certificate and experience working with refrigeration systems. Experience:

Minimum of 3 years' experience working in refrigeration engineering, ideally in commercial environments. Skills:

Strong technical skills in fault finding, repairs, and installations of refrigeration systems. Knowledge of refrigeration controls, electrical systems, and HVAC is a plus. Driving Licence:

Full UK driving licence (Company van provided). Work Ethic:

Ability to work independently, with excellent time management and attention to detail. Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and report writing. Flexible & Reliable:

Willing to be on-call 1 in 3 weeks and able to work overtime when required. Salary & Benefits: Salary:

£37,000 per annum. Overtime:

Paid at time-and-a-half for hours worked over 40 per week. Call-Out Rota:

1 in 3, with additional compensation for call-outs. (flexible) Door-to-Door Pay:

You'll be paid for your travel time from the moment you leave home until you return. Company Van:

Fully equipped company vehicle for work-related travel. Tools & Equipment:

All necessary tools and equipment provided. Training & Development:
