Objectives: Drive sales growth and increase profit contribution within the Newcastle territory.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and Expand Existing Customer Relationships: Conduct regular visits to existing customers, tailoring the frequency of visits based on customer spend and potential. Promote and sell full product range, identifying opportunities to increase average order value, product variety, and customer purchasing frequency. Demonstrate and promote products, support company-wide promotions, and initiate personal promotions to drive sales. Ensure customers experience high-quality service, addressing and resolving issues quickly, ensuring timely order completion, processing credits efficiently, and keeping all promises made to customers. Negotiate pricing for products and services when appropriate, escalating complex matters when necessary. Provide expert technical advice on products, including consumables, tools, equipment, and tyre pressure monitoring systems. Identify customers at risk, understand the underlying issues, and take the necessary steps to maintain and expand these relationships. Escalate concerns when appropriate. Always maintain professionalism, representing the company in an enthusiastic, positive, and dynamic manner. Provide regular sales reports to senior management as needed. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute positively to team goals. Prospect for New Business: Identify high-potential customers within the territory and target them for new business development. Take full responsibility for driving the growth of these new customer relationships. Ensure new accounts are set up correctly and appropriate account management processes are implemented for smooth ongoing service and relationship building. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in sales, ideally in a similar industry or field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer relationship management. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a structured customer visit schedule. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to make a significant impact in growing both existing and new business within your designated territory. Working Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm (some flexibility required) £27K per annum with a realistic OTE £45/£50K
