About The Role

The Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with good interpersonal skills to join our busy Faculty Finance team.

You will play a vital role in the operational management of our finances, including purchasing, invoice and expense processing, and budget monitoring. You will work closely with staff and students within the Faculty to ensure that University controls, processes, and best practices are followed throughout.

Effective and professional liaison with internal and external contacts is an integral part of the role, and so a need for tact and discretion and an ability to maintain confidentiality and remain professional are essential.

Candidates should be AAT qualified to level 3 or have equivalent relevant experience.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a logical and methodical approach to work and strong numeracy skills, as well as being a good communicator. You will be required to show a good use of initiative, work accurately, and be able to multi-task and prioritize a high workload, working both independently and as part of a team.

Further Information

This is a full-time post working 36.5 hours per week offered on a fixed-term basis until

31st July 2025 .

We currently work on a hybrid basis, working a minimum of 3 days per week on campus.
