The Northamptonshire Adult Learning Service is looking for inspirational tutors to deliver learning to adults across Northamptonshire. You will be responsible for facilitating learning and skill development of learners in various subjects. This includes creating engaging lesson plans, delivering instruction tailored to diverse learning styles and levels, and assessing students' progress. You will also adapt teaching methods accordingly and implement support measures. Additionally, you will complete all tutor activity including individual learning plans, progression, administration, and other associated activities. You will provide support and encouragement to learners, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to personal growth and achievement while promoting lifelong learning and empowerment within the adult student community. About you
A level 3 teaching qualification is preferred; however, we are looking for passionate and experienced individuals in their field, and we will support candidates in achieving their Level 3 Award in Teaching and Education where required. Candidates should hold a relevant qualification in their specialist area (e.g., for English, a minimum of Level 2 English is required). You will be an organised, positive, enthusiastic, and friendly individual who prioritizes education and achievement in your professionalism. You will strive for the best outcomes for your learners to ensure they successfully reach their goals. Ideally, you will have experience teaching accredited and/or well-being programmes. You will take an imaginative and innovative approach to your teaching duties to engage and support your learners in gaining the skills needed to interact confidently within community, education, or work settings. You will be resilient and work positively and effectively as part of a successful team.
