Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced self-employed nail technician with their own client base to join our new, small salon. We are currently a team of three and hoping to find a nail technician to work over weekends and the possibility of some hours during the week. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a salon, have their own client base, and have exceptional customer service skills.
We are a laid-back friendly team and would love someone bubbly to join us.
Duties
Perform a variety of nail treatments, including acrylics, builder gel, gel polish, manicures, and pedicures.
Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the treatment area.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques to provide clients with the best service possible.
Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and outstanding customer service.
Recommend products and services that suit individual client needs.
Handle client bookings and maintain accurate records of treatments provided.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Beautician or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
Proficient in various beauty treatments.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with clients.
A valid qualification in beauty therapy or related field is preferred but not essential.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to continuously learn and improve skills.
