This project has huge complexity and an enormous environmental aspect which is vital to its success. We are looking for an Environmental Manager who has extensive experience with large complex projects. The vital aspect of this role is to lead and manage contractors and consultancies with knowledge, influence, and integrity. Qualifications: Chartered Environmentalist or Chartered in an Engineering field. Good experience within Environmental and NEC3 contracts. Knowledge of applicable UK environmental law and relevant construction regulations, including Construction Design Management (CDM). Key Responsibilities: Lead on environmental technical assurance in the Integrated Project Team. Produce, check, and submit assurance evidence for technical stage gates. Ensure compliance with technical and sponsor requirements, environmental commitments, and regulations. Support the Head of Engineering and Environment in organizing and coordinating the environmental risk-based technical assurance of the works performed by the Integrated Project Team (IPT). This role is based 3 days a week from any office in London, Bicester, Milton Keynes, or Birmingham.
